* DC Power supply (10 A) &lt;br /&gt;
* Push button with 1 Ohm resistances. &lt;br /&gt;

* Plug the power supply to the wire through the push buttons with the 1 Ohm resistance&lt;br /&gt;
* Place the compass above or below the wire&lt;br /&gt;
