Back to 1Q - Rotational Dynamics
PIRA index: 1Q20.25
Description
Large and small pullies demonstrate rotational properties such as velocity, acceleration, and torque.
Equipment
- rod attachment
- solid pulley
- mass and string
Instructions
Attach the pulley to the rod such that it will rotate vertically. Attach the mass to the pulley using string and allow it to fall thus rotating the pulley. The mass will not lift as high as before.
Keywords
rotational, dynamics, pulley, angular, velocity, acceleration, torque
