Description
The Kelvin water dropper is a electrostatic generator. It amplifies a small difference in charge between two insulated buckets.
Equipment
- Kelvin water dropper set up
- Water
Instructions
- Make sure the two buckets are in place: they should be well insulated and their should be a few millimeter gap between one pin of the bulb and the wire reaching the cup and the other pin should be alreader solder to the opposite wire.
- Pour water in the top plastic cup
- Observe light bulb flashing (in the dark is best)
