Description

A focused magnetic field from a strong magnet levitates a smaller magnet

Equipment

• Levitating magnet setup
• Strong magnet
• Small square magnet
• Small non-magnetic tool (like a plastic fork)

Instructions

• Place the strong magnet on the of plastic plate
• Insert the small the magnet between the to dark plates with the small plastic tool.
• Adjust the height and alignment of the strong magnet with the screws such that the small magnet levitate.
